Tickets, access, and answers — all here

From the event page to checkout, receipts, QR codes, transfers, and troubleshooting. Everything you need to get your tickets and get in.

Buying tickets

Find your event, pick your tickets, and you're on your way.

How do I find an event on MrStubs?
Browse the events page to see what's on. If the organizer shared a direct link or QR code, that takes you straight to the event page where you can pick your tickets.
Do I need an account to buy tickets?
You can buy as a guest with just your email. If you want to see all your tickets and order history in one place, create an account or sign in before you check out.
Why is a ticket type greyed out?
That tier is either sold out, hasn't opened yet, or has already closed. The event page shows the on-sale window for each ticket type.

Checkout

How checkout works on your phone — quick, clear, and done in a few taps.

What payment methods does MrStubs accept?
MrStubs accepts every major credit and debit card through Stripe. On supported devices you can also pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay for a one-tap checkout. We do not see or store your card number — Stripe handles that for us.
Is my card information safe?
Yes. Payments go directly to Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processor. MrStubs only stores the last 4 digits and the card brand for receipt purposes — never the full number or CVV.
My payment failed — what now?
Double-check the card number, expiry, and ZIP/postal code, then try again. If the card was declined, contact your bank — they sometimes block first-time purchases on new merchants. If everything looks right and it still fails, contact support and we'll take a look.

Tickets & access

QR codes and everything you need to get through the door.

Where do I find my QR code?
Your QR code is in three places: the confirmation email, the My tickets page if you're signed in, and the unique ticket link sent in the receipt. Any one of those gets you in.
Do I need to print my ticket?
No — show the QR code from your phone at the door and the scanner reads it in a second. If you'd rather print, the receipt email has a printable layout.
What if my phone dies at the door?
Door staff can look you up by the email address on the order. Bring a photo ID that matches and they'll find your ticket.

Orders & receipts

Find your receipts, confirmations, and order details after you've paid.

I didn't get a confirmation email — what should I do?
Check your spam or promotions folder first — confirmations sometimes land there on the first order. If it's still missing after a few minutes, sign in and check My tickets using the same email you used at checkout. If the order isn't listed either, contact support.
Can I get an itemized receipt for my records?
Yes — the confirmation email is your itemized receipt. It lists each ticket type, quantity, fees, and the total charged. You can forward it to anyone who needs a copy.

Transfers & refunds

Plans changed? We get it. Here's how to transfer tickets or ask about refunds.

How do I transfer a ticket to a friend?
Open the ticket on the My tickets page and choose Transfer. Enter the email of the person you want to send it to — they'll get a secure link to accept the ticket on their end. The original QR stops working as soon as the new one is issued.
Can I get a refund?
Refund policies are set by the event organizer, not by MrStubs. The event page shows the organizer's refund window and rules. If you have a question about a specific order, contact support and we'll forward your request to the organizer.
What happens if an event is cancelled?
If an organizer cancels an event, every order on that event is refunded automatically to the original payment method. You'll get an email confirming the refund and the funds usually land within 5–10 business days.

Account & troubleshooting

Account access, missing tickets, and common fixes.

I forgot my password — how do I get back in?
Go to the log-in page and request a magic link. We'll email you a one-time sign-in link that gets you back into your account without a password.
My QR won't scan at the door — what now?
Turn your screen brightness all the way up and remove any screen protectors that might be glare-prone. If it still won't scan, door staff can look you up by the email on the order — same effect, takes a few extra seconds.
Can I change the email on my order?
Yes — contact support with the order number and the new email and we'll update it. We may verify the request against the original payment method first.
