MrStubs Community Guidelines

These Community Guidelines apply to everyone who uses MrStubs — Organizers and attendees. They work with the Terms of Service and the Organizer Agreement. Breaking them can lead to content removal, event cancellation, or account suspension or termination.

1. MrStubs is for event ticketing only

MrStubs may be used only to list and sell admission to legitimate events. It may not be used for food or restaurant ordering, for selling physical goods unrelated to admission, or for any purpose other than event ticketing.

2. Be lawful and accurate

  • List only real events you are authorized to hold.
  • Describe events accurately — no fake, misleading, or bait-and-switch listings.
  • Obtain every license, permit, and approval your event requires.
  • Do not impersonate anyone or claim false affiliations or endorsements.

3. Prohibited events, content, and conduct

You may not use MrStubs for, or in connection with, any of the following:

  • Illegal activity of any kind, or events whose primary purpose is unlawful conduct.
  • Fraud and scams — fake events, phishing, stolen credentials, deceptive fundraising.
  • Weapons and explosives — sale or distribution of firearms, ammunition, or explosives.
  • Controlled substances — illegal drugs or unlawful sale of regulated substances.
  • Gambling — unlawful gambling, or games of chance/raffles/sweepstakes that do not comply with applicable law.
  • Hate and harassment — content that attacks or dehumanizes people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or other protected characteristics; bullying; threats.
  • Violence and dangerous organizations — promoting or glorifying violence, terrorism, or criminal organizations.
  • Child safety — any child sexual abuse material or child exploitation. This is reported to authorities and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
  • Exploitation — human trafficking, forced labor, or non-consensual intimate imagery.
  • Sexual content — pornography or sexual solicitation.
  • Unauthorized resale and scalping — reselling tickets in violation of an Organizer's terms or applicable ticket-resale law.
  • Intellectual-property infringement — using others' trademarks, copyrighted works, or brands without authorization.
  • Privacy invasion — collecting unnecessary sensitive personal or financial data from attendees, or misusing attendee data.
  • Spam and manipulation — bulk inauthentic listings, deceptive SEO, or manipulating platform rankings.
  • Security interference — unauthorized access, scraping, malware, or attacks on the Services.
  • Misinformation that causes harm — false claims that create a serious risk to public health or safety.
  • Deceptive money-making schemes — pyramid schemes, chain-referral or multi-level-marketing recruitment presented as an event, "get rich quick" offers, and similar schemes.
  • Self-harm — content that promotes, encourages, or provides instructions for suicide or self-harm.
  • Animal cruelty — content or events that promote the abuse, torture, illegal hunting, or trafficking of animals.
  • Off-platform payment evasion — arranging paid transactions off-platform to avoid fees or these Guidelines.

4. Attendee conduct

Attendees must not harass others, misuse tickets, commit payment fraud, or abuse the refund or chargeback process. Follow each event's and venue's rules.

5. Reporting and enforcement

Report a listing or user that violates these Guidelines at [email protected]. We review reports and may remove content, cancel events, refund affected Buyers (subject to the Refund Policy), and suspend or terminate accounts. We may report unlawful activity to law enforcement. Enforcement decisions are at our reasonable discretion.

6. Changes

We may update these Guidelines. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
