Doors are the part nobody rehearses. This is what MrStubs does when the line is out front — what works today, what is on a phone browser, and what is still being built.

What works today

  • Staff door list

    The will-call list, on a phone

    Your door staff open the list of who is expected, find a name, and check them in by hand. It is the same list whether someone bought online, was comped, or turned up with a printed page.

  • Staff scanning

    Two ways to scan a ticket

    One surface reads the code with the phone's camera. A second one holds check-ins while the connection is gone and sends them when it comes back. They are separate surfaces today, and which one your door wants depends on which problem your door has.

  • Event staff

    Door staff see one event, not your account

    A staff member is added to a specific event and sees that event. They do not get the rest of your account, and taking them off the event takes the access with it.

  • Scan ledger

    A record of every scan

    Each check-in is written down as it happens — which ticket, which staffer, what the scanner decided. When somebody disputes a door decision the next morning, the answer is already recorded.

What it does not do yet

  • The camera and the works-without-a-connection queue are on two different screens today. No single screen does both yet, so we do not describe it as one feature.
  • The camera surface uses the browser's own barcode reader, which is not available inside every phone browser. Where it is missing, the will-call list and manual check-in still work.

The apps are not in the stores yet. Everything on this page runs in a phone browser today — there is nothing to install and nothing to wait for.

The kiosk

A tablet by the door, or in the lobby

A stand you can walk up to, tap, and be done with — for a ticket at the door or a gift on a Sunday morning. It is the next thing being built and it is not built yet.

Not available yet. There is no date to give you, and we would rather say that than pick one.

Today the same job is done by a printed code on the stand: someone points their own phone at it and the page opens on their phone.
