Draft, publish, and share your event

Control when your event page goes live, then share the right link, QR code, or embed when you're confident everything looks right.

01Use drafts for private preparation

Keep an event in draft while you are still editing content, checking ticket rules, or waiting on payment setup. A draft is the safest place to refine the page before you send any traffic to it.

Once the page is ready, publish it from the review step or from the event workspace so buyers can see the public event URL.

02Share from Promote when the page is live

After publishing, open /organizer/promote to copy the hosted event link, download a QR code, and open the public page exactly as buyers see it. This keeps sharing separate from editing, which is usually easier for teams.

Steps

  1. 1Publish the event.
  2. 2Open Promote from the organizer sidebar.
  3. 3Choose the event you want to share.
  4. 4Copy the hosted link or download the QR asset.

03Use direct links when you want tighter control

MrStubs currently works best when you control distribution through the direct event page, your own website, or the Promote workspace. If you do not want broad discovery pressure, share the event directly with the audience you want instead of relying on a homepage feed.

Current behavior

MrStubs does not pretend every event needs a giant marketplace-style discovery experience. The clearest path is usually a direct public event page, a clean embed, or a controlled campaign link.
